The last two weeks of April proved to be banner weeks for SBAS in local media outlets.
First up was the Independent with an article titled Backyard Birding Really Helps Being Stuck at Home.
The Independent subsequently published a letter Happy Birding, by our Executive Director in response to the previous article.
Next up was the Santa Barbara News-press with their article titled Eyes in the Sky: And birds on the fist for Audubon volunteer featuring Coni Edick and Max.
Lastly, but not least, Noozhawk published their article Forced to Wing It, Museums and Programs Keep Wildlife Well Cared for During Pandemic which featured the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Santa Barbara Audubon Societie’s Eyes in the Sky raptors which are housed on the Museum’s grounds.
