San Antonio Creek Trail, Sunday July 26th, 8:30am to 11:00am

Sunday, July 26, 2026 ~ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Join SBAS board member and local wildlife biologist Ian Jackson on a bird walk exploring San Antonio Creek Trail, a delightful, shaded walking path between Tucker’s Grove Park and Highway 154. We’ll cover approximately 3 miles over mostly flat terrain through oak woodland and riparian habitat, with a chance to possibly observe all three local year-round hawk species — red-tail, red-shouldered, and Cooper’s. Ian will help participants identify birds by sight and sound while sharing insights into their ecology and life histories.

The walk will be followed by an optional brunch at Brass Bird Coffee and Kitchen on upper State Street, where folks can connect, talk birds, and discuss more ways to get involved with Santa Barbara Audubon.

No sign-up necessary. Contact Ian Jackson with any questions at email hidden; JavaScript is required
